Today, students from Perez visited the Shedd Aquarium with Northwestern chaperones. Students learned about biodiversity while seeing some incredible animal species for the first time.
During the trip, students walked through the Amazon rainforest exhibit and saw tons of rare and endangered fish. They also explored the Great Lakes exhibit and learned about the importance of freshwater. Last but not least, they got to touch some sea stars and see dolphins, sea otters, and beluga whales!
We had a great time with Perez today and can’t wait for the other trips this quarter!
